We understand that not everybody can make it to our Big Tidy Up events but may still be interested in getting involved. Mini Tidy Ups can be arranged for a small group of up to 4 people at a time more suitable to themselves. If you are interested in litter picking any of the following routes or areas, or an area od your own choosing, please contact me and I will hook you up with others if necessary and facilitate everything else.
Hale Road A538 - from The Four Seasons Roundabout (M56 junction 6) in Hale Barns, all the way along on both sides to the junction with Ashley Road at the Altrincham end. I have two volunteers so far. Who else would like to join us?
A56/M56 Lymm roundabout - We have cleaned the approaches to this roundabout but would like to do the roundabout itself too. Would you like to join me?
A56 footbridge - The green metal footbridge across the A56 alongside Loreto School needs to have the moss and twigs scraped off and swept down. Would you like to do this?
Country Lanes - there are a number of narrow country lanes between Hale / Timperley and Wythenshawe Hospital and Manchester Airport. Due to the narrowness of the roads, we will use a rolling cavalcade to protect the safety of litter pickers and to alert motorists that litter picking is going on. This one should be adults only for safety reasons. Are you interested? It will porbably be July 15th and we may have two separate sessions, one in the morning, one in the afternoon.
