'Our Altrincham' is the name of a movement led by Sarah Walmsley and run with the assistance of other local people. It is not a charity but it is not a profit-making organisation either.  Its mission it to involve local people in the regeneration of Altrincham, to save vulnerable public services and to encourage a strong community spirit in the town.

The movement is not party political, though involvement from politicians as local residents is always welcome.  

The movement does not currently have any formal funding and operates solely using donations from local businesses and members of the public.  Funding is desperately needed for the movement to continue.
